Braxton-Grant Technologies, Inc. was selected by the Maryland Department of Commerce to provide the basic cybersecurity training administered by Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as part of a program for forty small and mid-sized businesses located throughout the state of Maryland that were awarded grants in an earlier phase of the Small Business Cybersecurity Resilience in Maryland (SCRIM) program.
Braxton-Grant Technologies was selected as the provider of this training for all forty companies, based on its success providing scanning and mitigation services in the program’s early phase. In the coming weeks, Braxton-Grant will host two live virtual sessions for the SCRIM Program participants. They will also receive other resources to initiate internal training within their companies. After the sessions, the training video will be made available to the public on Braxton-Grant’s website.
In the Fall of 2023, forty companies received grants through the Maryland Department of Commerce to improve their cybersecurity posture with assessment (scanning) and mitigation services under the SCRIM Program.
