Braxton-Grant Technologies announces that it has received an award for an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) – Office of the Chief Information Officer for Information Technology (IT) Equipment – Hardware / Software Purchases.“We here at Braxton-Grant are excited to be one of only three award winners for this contract with the Federal Government and we look forward to providing products to the NLRB for years to come. The National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency enforcing the National Labor Relations Act, which guarantees the right of most private sector employees to organize, to engage in group efforts to improve their wages and working conditions, to determine whether to have unions as their bargaining representative, to engage in collective bargaining, and to refrain from any of these activities. It acts to prevent and remedy unfair labor practices committed by private sector employers and unions.
The mission of the NLRB Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is to establish and provide:
- Assistance and guidance on the use of technology-supported business process reengineering
- Investment analysis
- Performance measurement
- Strategic development and application of information systems and infrastructure
- Policies to provide improved management of information resources and technology and
- Better, more efficient service to its clients and employees.
The purpose of this ID/IQ is to provide a streamlined efficient purchasing contract and related processes for the NLRB to acquire a variety of IT resources to include hardware and software. Specific hardware and software requirements requests will be issued under separate task orders within this ID/IQ.
